Press Releases from Fenland District Council
March Area Transport Study, a study funded by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) looking at transport improvements in March.
The study examined a range of potential improvements to make travel easier in March, including addressing existing traffic flow problems and developing options to allow for future growth in March in line with the Fenland Local Plan.
Options identified by the study were due to go to Public Consultation commencing on 28 March 2020 but this was postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
In order to maintain progress, we now propose to run an online consultation between 15 May and 28 June 2020, which will be followed up by more traditional face to face consultation events when public health guidance permits us to do so.
The online consultation is being run through a virtual consultation room (https://futuremarch.consultation.ai/) which enables the user to view the consultation material onscreen as though they were visiting a public event.
The consultation is supported by an online survey (https://consultcambs.uk.engagementhq.com/future-march) where users can comment on the proposals. Supporting documentation from the study, including the Option Assessment Report is also available for viewing in the consultation room and on the survey webpage. Please note that the links above will only work properly when the consultation launches on 15 May.
